SYNOPSIS

ashttpd [ –setting = value ] ...

ashttpd –status

ashttpd –stop

ashttpd –version

DESCRIPTION

ashttpd is a fairly capable, multi-threaded web-server used to host Abilisoft WSGI applications. It can be used for lightweight, engineering or demonstration deployments. It is used for out-of-the-box operation of applications like the Reef Event Management Server. While ashttpd is reasonably capable it is recommended you use it behind a more powerful reverse proxy for production deployments.

INVOCATION

–version
Show the version number and exit
-h –help
Show help message and exit
–stop
Stop ashttpd by sending SIGINT to the process ID in $AS_HOME/var/run/ashttpd/ashttpd.pid.
–status
Return the status of a running asagent, in accordance with the LSB init script convention:
0 ashttpd is running
1 ashttpd is dead and pid file exists
3 ashttpd is not running
4 ashttpd status is unknown

$AS_HOME/etc/ashttpd.conf
The runtime configuration file.
